need help...tranny problem...

Default need help...tranny problem...

i got this GS-R tranny with quiafe limited slip diff..some people tell me this lsd is really expensive..so yea about the problem..every time at 3000rpm it make this raddle or weird nosie...i put oil but its still the same...hopefully is like dat or i think its fu*ked up..if u guys have any idea please let me know asap..

u sure its ur tranny??? the lsd is really expensive. quiafe makes good products. but just bc u hear a noise at 3k doesnt mean its ur tranny......

could b anything.......is it a rattle or a knock? is there a ringing sound? does it happen when ur turning? 3k is a common rpm. believe it or not ur car is at close to 3k a lot of the time. (at least myne is). need more detail to diagnose.

Could be alot of things. If you are sure it is coming from the tranny and you suspect the diff is making the noise then it might be bad diff bearings or incorrect shims.
