Desperate, Need help this weekend
MY DD took a crap on me, and I need it fixed ASAP...willing to pay someone to fix, need help!
The bolt hole for the camshaft tensioner pulley is stripped...Ive got the bolt out, but have no way to fix the problem, I am alos lacking the tools necessary to do the job. Can anyone here fix this for me on Saturday? I can pay...it will need to be towed, Im located in St. Pete, just north of intersection of 9th ST (MLK) & Roosevelt...please anyone that can help...please, this is my DD family car...thanks...

yes I suppose...I have a timing lift, and I'm sure it hasn't jumped teeth, but hey who knows at this point. Most likely I will need timing done again.
I dunno what to do, the bolt itself is fine, the bolt hole is FUBAR...I pulled what looked like an aluminum metal slinky off the bolt that came out of that hole...
so honestly, Im stumped as to how to fix this...

Just go to pepboys for 6bucks by a Tap and rethread it to 10mm insted of 8 should be good then strip off the threads of the olt bolt and DONT DAMAGE the washer make sure you use the honda washer on the new bolt

I have no car, that is my only one. How can I tap and die the bolt hole, if I cant get to the hole? Were talking less than 3" of room between the tensioner bolt hole and the frame rail...the motor is still in the car...

you lower the motor do it thru the wheelopening
