The sleeve cost is not need for NA, but by doing it you are making a GSR short block and gaining some displacement. Why not just find a B16 or B20 for the short block?

It will be cheaper and better to just sleeve a b18c or b18b block then you can run an oem crank (I'd suggest an 89mm) and stay away from custom pistons and/or rods. Stroked b16a's don't have the best track record for reliablility.

plus dont WASTE your money on this "TWM 2000 SERIES ITB'S

" your best bet is to find a SHItty b18c block or a CHEAP b18b block if your going with sleeves not sure why you are if its all motor but ok..i can give you millions of better ways to go and get the same power you will from all you named for about 2K less ;o)

really u was going with sleeves because i might end up boosting so i might just knifeedge a stock crank and get some dish forged pistons and whala! haha but ya the reason i was even thinking of itb's was beccause my buddy in miami has a set for a b16 and he said i could get them from him for 500! ya a deal ha but i just got the block so i havent decided FOR SURE what i wanna do with it i love turbo but i have never ovned a built na car (i was also thinking a nitrous build) like i said i havent decided for sure, im thinking in every direction

Sounds like a killer NA build up to me. That is the kind of build a lot of people like to see and a lot wish they could do. I could advise you to save money, do something more practical, but if you got the money and/or you've got the knowledge, and OEM gas mileage and reliability are not objectives, do it - and keep us posted.

Besides, last thing we need is another person posting up every-other-day details of their oem GSR build. Now a stroked, bored and ITB'd B16? That's a thread worth tracking. Carpe diem.
