ok i thought it was my inner tie rod that was fked..well im not sure not..but on the driver side inner tie rod came apart from i guess the steering idk what its called..anyway..when the tie rod is screwed in should it have any play..cuz it does..and what would be the problem..needing the clamp or whatever to hold it securely or the part it screws into needs replacing ? and whats it called if thats the case? i need this fixed by today please..thanks

 

Where is the play in your tie rod?? Is there play on the end of it or where it screws into your steering rack?

 

The tie rod connects to the hub with a ball joint, that should have no play. It also attaches to the steering rack with a ball in socket type joint, that should also have no play. If it is the inner tie rod joint then remove the steering rack and bring it to Mike's Drivelines and they can fix it.

 

yea i think its the steering rack...i looked it up..so i guess i need to return the inner tie rod get that money back for that..thanks for the help guys..very much appreciated..

 

if you buying a new rack my 2Cents GO WIH POWER STEERING buy a rack from 4Door civic with powersteering

 

i dont want to buy shit for the car anymore...i wish i could give it away honestly..but i cant..cuz i dont have anything to ride(no a bicycle wont do)..
its that upsetting honestly..so much money and so many times fucked over and shit just continously goes wrong..i just want a nice car..but fuck no..i cant get a loan cuz i dont have ENOUGH credit..like give me a loan so i can build some..gay shit...
