yea i kno that in 98 honda standardized the cam profiles. however the us and jdm cams were still different. BUT, the concept still the same.

One quick off-topic question, is it better to have both CTR IN and EX cams or a CTR IN and GSR EX?? Granted you have CTR valvetrain too.

better to have both.....but the difference was only 1 hp (from what i read). if u have the money go get both of em. but u can get away with just having the intake cam for a while. the ctr valve train is always a plus bc its lighter n will let u rev a lil farther.

buddy of mine has a arp rod bolts itr pistons and stock gsr head with aebs intake mani and arp head studs and can rev 9k all day

i dont have the head studs, but i do have the rod bolts. lol 9k is a lil too high for me but it must b nice to say u can rev that high. what else is done to his motor?

ive dropped valves with a stock gsr at 8400,8500, so theres no reving oem past 8200 with out failer

What can ITR valvetrain handle? 8400 rpms?

stok redline on a type r is 8400....so the limit is prolly 8600. did u just buy the ctr valve train that was in parts for sale?

haha i pmd the guy about em n he said he sold the cams n valve train for 375! good luck puttin em in....lmk if u got more questions. we needa run for fun. i got the compression on ya, but u got the cams . should b a good one! lol
