Axle Wobble

Default Axle Wobble

Ok so i replaced and axle and today was the first time i drove my car, well as soon as i started driving my car was wobbeling. im guessing i didnt get the axle in all the way does this sounds right? Lmk

Are they reman axles or new? Remans are notorious for that.

What did you torque the axle down to?

New....didnt torque it to anything

are you sure you tightened all your lug nuts down?

yes i double checked both sides before i left. Replace right side axle and 2 studs on left(driver)

sounds like a fucked up cv axle. like you may have pulled on it. and one of the bearings fell out of place.

Well i know it not being in all the way did the same thing to my boi, It was wobbely we pushed it in and it was fine i just wanted yalls advice

bad axle. replace the axle. bad axles wobbles or vibrates only when load is applied. when you accelerate.

yes, bad axle. i have seen this i can't tell you how many times. a couple shops i worked at used auto zone and discount auto parts for all our parts and their axles vibrated about 70 percent of the time on customer cars. napa or carquest axles are the best for replacement.
