Default del sol starting prob

95 del sol si everything stock. it started up fine yesterday all day. but when i went to leave my friends house it didnt. battery has power starter is brand new. turning the key the usual happens b4 it starts lights come on i here the fuel pump kickin in but when i turn it the rest of the way the starter does nothing it makes no attempt at turning the motor over. so i check all the fuses and their all fine. my next though was that safety switch on the cluth pedal so i un pluged it and jumped it with a papper clip and again the starter will not engage. i dusted off my test light and began going through some things. all the wires on the ignition switch get power when on accesorie except for one but it gets power when the key is turned the rest of the way, im guessing this is usual? The only possible way i can get it to start is if i jump it with a screw driver.

any ideas or suggestions?
