little problem

Default little problem

ok heres the deal i have an ej8 and when i drive it i have a "clunk clunk clunk" sound coming from my front end it only happens when i do not accelerate or if i let off the gas and it gets faster with speed and i do have a little bit of a shake in the wheel and i dont have p/s if that helps thanks for any help

ok ill look at it i think my axels are good i jacked it up and spun the wheels there was no play what so ever so i will get to checking out the mounts when i get home what else could it be

might have a bad tire or tires? Yes it could also be the axles. Wheel bearings if bad enough will and can cause a clunk clunk type noise also wheel vibrations. Its really hard to go by with such a vauge explanation of your problem. There are many things that could cause this clunk clunk type noise. It sounds like a pretty obvious problem nothing hard to duplicate.

make sure your rims are on tight...I had that sound then my wheel almost came off-lol

ya ive been working alot lately havent had time to even check and the place i bought the car from didnt give me the lug key to get the nuts off and it not just one set of nuts its 2 so i got to find thoes then i can get to work....

Take a socket that doesn't quite fit over the lock lug and hammer it on, the socket will kinda just cut it's way onto the lug lock.
Make sure you pick up some regular ones form advanced or napa before you do it though so you have something to put back on.

Have your wheels been recently balanced?
