Recharging A/c..??...

Default Recharging A/c..??...

Hi guys.. well my moms 97 Accord a/c wasent feeling as cold as before so i went ahead and bought 2 cans of a/c Freon.. Followed instructions and now the a/c became worse.. sometimes its cold for 2-3mins.. then its gets warm, back and forth..? i dont know why its doing it.. Help appricated.. thanks

Also checked a/c belt, its on good..

YOU DID DO THE REFILL thru the LOWpressure side correct?if so what psi is your system at now?

Yes.. its through the L(low) pressure side.. not sure what the psi is at dont have a gauge..

take it to any a/c shop and they will test it for you for free and let you know what the problem is, you can usually tell by what the psi is at on the high n low side. o yea they will try n get you to let them fix it...

how many onces did you put in? how much does the system hold? does it have any signs of leaking anywhere? perhaps it is now overcharged. cans are a horrible way of charging. for one you need to pull a vac down before charging a system. id say have it done by a shop.
