I got a 91 integra rs and i have a ls transmition in it 1st question i heard that ls transmition its the strongest transmition out there is that true?
second question is i got h22 motor that i was thinking about swapin in to my 91 rs and i heard i need lots of upgrades like suspension and axles and new transmition cuz ls wont work wit it could anybody let me know what i need to get done to swap h22 into 91 integra rs with ls transmition.

 

first off h22 is a h series and the ls is a b series so the h22 engine with the ls tranny wont work unless you get a h2b kit. getting that kit to go with that tranny is not worth it imo. you would want to mate that motor with a short geared tranny from a b-16. just get a complete h22 swap (long block "block+head" and tranny) get your mounts axles, and shifter cables, and have someone swap it for you. think you shifter area will have to be modded cause you will not be using a shift linkage no more cause the h22's uses shifter cables.

 

so wat prices am i lookin at? just around cuz i dont even think im gonna do it. i might as well get a si motor or a gs-r.

 

don't know. just get a b-series more simple to do.
