bumpin it up from 6200 to 7000 not much but itc ould make a lil bit of a diffrence after revin to 6000 when i shift i get set back at 4000 so with a limit of 7000 when i shift i will be at 5000 rmps just sets me in my power band better

 

If you plan on raising the rev-limit on a stock motor, get some aftermarket valve springs at the very least ...and consider an aftermarket cam(s).

 

thats what i was think but i was told that 800 rmps is nothin

 

this is a roundy round car on a 3/8 mile I run it in 2nd gear it hits the rev befor I get to the turn I need about 45 more feet and I lift anway for the turn . it cost me many of races last season .used third once but car falls on its face coming out off the turn

 

see that extra 800 or 1000 rmps would of won a race
