Battery light comes on (part 2)
the battery light comes on once i start the car and it stays on.but once i step on the gas,it goes away and never come back on until i shut off the car and then it will come back on again once i restart the car.also i let the car run and then pull the positive battery ternimal off and the car shuts down right away.does that mean i need to get a new alternator?
i checkec the alternator belt.it is tight

yup new alt well first check the belt if its very loose then could be the problem but if it tight then you need a new alt.
