IMO blockguards are wack. Look on Homemadeturbo.com for DIY blockfill. It's raw. No welding. It's taller and cheaper than the blockguard.

When it comes to buying stuff for your car, cheaper is not always better in this case... cause lets say you buy this kit for $900, you put it in a tune it and all the good stuff... two months later you blow the turbo, then you have to buy a new turbo or rebuild it, then you intercooler loses pressure, have to buy a new one... then your motor blows and then your screwed.... So the money your going to pay twice just spend it once and not have to have a problems.... Trust me ive learned the hard way and so will you if you buy that cheap kit

and one other piece of advice, take your time. find out what parts work well for your planned setup.
i did a lot of research on h-t before i made my decisions. you can usually root thru all the b.s. to find some good info. you can also usually find someone that really knows their stuff and IM them. most of the really knowledgeable people on h-t are pretty nice and dont mind helping out.
despite doing a lot of research, i opted to get a drag3 kit just to get something on my car. it was a big mistake. the kit is ok, but for all the money i ended up spending upgrading the crappy parts it came with(couplers, clamps, oil drain line, down pipe.. etc.) i could have gotten something better.

Piece a kit together.

I have a SOHC log turbo manifold that is a/c compatible that you can buy - $85

Also I have a friend that has a new turbonetics super 60 for sale that will work great on the SOHC.
