ok so i just bought a CB7 and now can be part of the honda tech. i ordered a F20B swap for it already. my car is getting painted and im using my accord now as a DD and once i get my sil80 back from being painted im going to start pulling the motor out of the CB7 and start installing the F20B. so yea, i just thought i would say what up to the honda tech since i own a honda now, also let me know what you guys think about the F20B swap and eventually im going to turbo it once i get a bigger turbo for my sil80 so i can use the t25 on the CB7.

Should've gone H22.

 

ive heard a lot of bad things about H22. like the tranny blows alot but besides that the H22 is i think around 220hp and the F20B is around 200hp and the H22 is .2 more liters. and the F20B i got was only $1300 and a H22 runs for about $2200 and its about equal power besides its a lil easier to find H22 parts.

 

You think F series trannys are any better? Well for $1300 you got a good deal, hope you plan on going turbo, F series love boost (or nawz).

well see idk much about honda transmissions. now i know a decent amount about the motors but yea lol. i just wanted to save some money and be around the same power limitations.

haha idk where my camera is but ill get pix up some how within the next couple days. and no... my 240 is still running on the t25 turbo. once i put the F20B in and boost it, it will beat my 240 in a race. BUT however, i might wanna put an upgrade on my sil80 b4 i boost the CB7. but all in all i have a zex wet shot nitrous kit for my 240 when it gets out of the paint booth which should be friday.

good choice on the cb7, its a classic car, as for the f20b swap, not bad, and a good deal too. especially when you turbo it, i think that t25 will be a good size for it for daily driving.

yea that was what i was thinking to! lol and yea the 2 door 5 speed i couldnt pass it up. now i got the best of both words a fwd car and a rwd car. but once i get my sil80 back my CB7 will sit until i get the motor put in and the turbo accessories. once i get a bigger turbo for my sil80 im going to use that t25 for it.
