Default brake light issues

hello T.R.

Can anyone help me with my brake lights. They stay on when the ignition is off and I can't figure out what the hell is going on. Is there a switch or button under the dash that ingauges the brake lights? Let me know if you can help. Thanks again for the help.

the switch comes in contact with the upper end of the pedal under the dash.it is adjusted by screwing the switch in or out(i think out if they stay on all the time.)

Or the rubber plug on the brake pedal (way up top) fell or broke off.

+1gazillion
the lil plug gets brittle and then just crumbles and falls out, thus causing the brake light switch not to be pushed in by the brake pedal.
you can get a new one at honda for super cheap!
some guys rig it up by putting a nut and bolt in it's place, but you have to make sure the head of the bolt's not too thick though!!!
