SOHC head on ZC block???

I was wondering if a sohc vtec head would bolt up to a D16ZC dohc bottom end any help would be appreciated???

I was on de-series org and I saw threads where where people put zc dohc heads on sohc blocks I dont see why it cant be done vice versa

Black94EGcoupe, link please on that happening. I know people tried it a long time ago and I think the headstuds/holes didn't line up. If you want DOHC, ZC's are what $600? Thats from hmotors and I will vouch for Steve's engines anyday. Every one that I have gotten from him is clean as hell.
