Code 4: Crank angel postion sensor... HELP!
OK, I got this '88 CRX Si with a B16a1 to use as a daily driver. I got it with a MSD cap with external ignitor and it ran fine. Long story short, my little brother has the MSD set up and I got his nearly brand new stuff on my car. Ever since he swapped it to my car, it has been running like ass. Its throwing a code 4 wich is the crank angel postion sensor. I've did a little research with people saying to get a new dizzy and to check the wires. The dizzy is only a few months old, and I checked the wires and everything seems to be fine. I put in a different ignitor that I had laying around, and it seems to help it run better, but wont go past 3,000 RPM and still throwing the code 4. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? Its killing me not being able to drive this thing around! Any and all help would be greatly appereceated.

where did you get the distributor from? more than likely, you're gonna need a new dist. this sensor is built into the dist. housing and can not be replaced seperately. so if you know anyone with a spair dist. laying around, throw that in there and see if it helps.

Grrrr the suspense is killing me! Can I atleast get a spy/sneak peek shot or something to hold me over?? What are you focusing on more, exterior, speed, interior or the engine bay? Or a lil of everything!?! I can't wait! EF's are defenately comming back into the scene!

Don't take life so serious. It's not like were getting out of it alive anyway.
