These were bought from CFP_IVAN here on TR. Unfortunately, I'm a Dumb Ass, which is why Rang is working on my car, and doing a Damn good job I might add, but CFP_IVAN told me they were all four new monroe shocks with springs, when only the back ones were monroe, the front ones were stock Honda. And that one has the spring on upside down.

i am very sadden today when i saw this poor got ripped off from this tr memeber...he told him the shocks are new and the springs are 1" drop hmmm no the springs are on upside down the front shocks where stock crappy ones,the rear WOW!!i just hope this tr memeber steps up and helps this guy with some money back1!!!!

Start by asking for some of your money back for misdescribed parts, Then proceed to call him out if he doesn't agree and refund some cash.

Also give him a shitty Trader Rating so others don't step into the same trap you did.....No Offense.

 

damn everyone beat me to it about the springs being upside down. and what were you using a cordless drill for? and a torque wrench? lol

 

cordless drill is my lil hammer drill i use when removing lugs,the strut bolt,strutTower bolts....heheh Tq wrench I make sure everything is perfect when ever i work on a car just like when i build the motors : o ) thats my whole lil mobel tool box has everything in it if i ever come accross any problems when i gotta work on a car

 

yep, i think everyone should have one. i always have. just a little shitty one from walmart with the basics just in case.

 

damn, this sucks, anyone know where I can get a good pair of stock/aftermarket shocks + springs for a 91 Civic EF Hatch? Used is perfect if in excellent condition.
