wiring vtec need help

Default wiring vtec need help

ok guys i am going to be wiring vtec in to a non vtec car soon and i have nice write up on how to wire in in a non vtec harness How to wire vtec - Hondaswap i know the GRN/YEL wire comes from the vtec sel. but the only question i have is where does the BLU/BLK wire come from in the engine bay?????

i am very mechanicly inclined so plz dont say "oh you cant do that just have some else do it" this is just the first time i am messing with vtec

Comes from the pressure switch.. if you are putting a jdm motor in it won't have a pressure switch.. the pressure switch is the green plug on the bottom of the vtec solinoid.

yes its a jdm type-r b18c..........so i will only have to run the GRN/YEL wire to the ecu?

Yeah, but what ecu are you going to run? If you are running the USDM ecu with the JDM motor setup, then you will have to jump the vtec pressure switch wire with the vtec solenoid wire.

Si si senor, hopefully he just has a whole JDM swap though
