need help asap!!!!!!!!

im hooking up gauges for my car and i conected a ground wire to a good ground source and then anywere i connect my positive wire the gauge comes on even when my car is of...does any one know what to do...

use ignition harness instead of constant but if your asking this then you probably dont need to be cutting the harness yourself and you should pay someone else to do it.
