removing paint from rims
ok i just bought rims from a guy on the sit they where nice but they where painted so now i want to make them the original color.........
is it ok to put paint thinner on them......
........please help

Aircraft stripper! You can fnid it in a aresol can at autozone. I garuntee you it'll work. Just try not to get to much on your tires. Also be sure to follow the directions carefully!

yep! just get some aircraft stripper and let it sit there for about 10 mins.. then just pressure wash all the paint, and you've got it to the bare metal! that stuff works like a charm..

the longer you wait the better it works the can says like 30 to 40 mins than cleen off i put my wheels in a black garbage bag
1. so i dont make a mess everywhere and
2. the gases is what help take the paint off so keepeing everything confined really helps

lol yeah I still have scabs on my knuckles from getting it on me almost two months ago. Hurts more than spraying brake parts cleaner on an open wound!

omfg and i do that almost on a daily basis somehow and it fucking sucks!!! one little tiny nick you didn't even know was there gets hit with brake clean now you damn sure know its there!!!
