Default B series tranny install help!!!

Trying to reinstall a new tranny in my gsr. Got the old one out but I am having a heck of a time trying to get this one back in. I am by myself so this is a task and a half. Anyone have any good tricks to installing a tranny by yourself? I just can't get it to line up correctly I guess. Help please! Need to finish this today so I have a car to drive!

yep as said above, set it on a hydrolic jack and roll it up under the car and jack it up and stand over the pass side fender while jacking it up with your foot. (i know it sounds retarded but you will see when you do it) then just grab it and align it in. i have had to do this several times, kinda sucks but it will get the job done for sure.

Get some help. It takes at least one man and a medium sized boy. Also, what he said - alignment tool a must when installing the clutch disc.

Clutch alignment tool FTW. I just slide under the car, dead lift it onto my check and up into the car it goes. Wiggle wiggle, dow pins lined up...wiggle. Install some bolts while laying down there to hold it temporarily and rest is history.

I think I have done this to my car about 40 times now in the past couple years.

It's fun doing it this way, atleast I think so
Get's a good workout.

I had to do it like 4 times on one car.
My buddy had someone else work on it while I was at work, she was dumping oil out of the rear main seal.
Dam FWD Auto tranny...

Thats a way that i used, another way is too. If you have an Engine hoist. Get the tranny chained up and in the air within the engine bay on the pass. side. Jack it up towards the spot, while you get under it to position the drive shaft into the clutch disc and flywheels teeth. It's better if you have ghood light in the area and another person above trying to accomplish the same thing as you. Make sure your dowel pins are set and it should be done on that same day. Ghood luck tho. Use help.

You've changed your trans on an average more than twice a month for the last couple of years? You gotta be beatin' on that car.
