ef help relay clicking

i went to start my car last nyte and th relay was cliking it is the relay that is closet to your hood release i ytred agian still no good but it was clicking i tryed a third and it stopped clicking i went to the junkyard today and got another one i put it in and tryed strating the car and still it was clicking can sum one help me

Why buy a main relay from the J-Yard? If it was a new one you could be at least 99% sure that it will actually work.

It worked without clicking for a while, right? Parts do go bad you know. Then you replace them with another quality one to get you by for another X number of years.
