need help 96 ek with a d16z6

Default need help 96 ek with a d16z6

i swapped a d16z6 into a ek got the conversion harness and a p28 ecu the car turns on but when you give it gas it wants to stall out doesnt want to pass 1500 rpms before shutting off

I never trust those conversion harnesses. I'd get a OBD1 ecu, injectors, and distributor. Try that if you can borrow a buddies.

have a odb1 computer and the dizzy has the casing of a the d16z6 but with the internals of a 96 soo that the plugs can pulg in.the conversion harness was made by phearable he is a reliable seller and his products as well

check out your dizzy wires and make sure your pin out at ecu matchs what you have up top.

Contact 60-1 EK on here. He's a boss when it comes to harnesses and EVER reliable adapters.

obd1 ecus can be run with an obd2a/b distributor, injectors, alternator etc.

Our harnesses are the same exact item rywire sells.

He does not need an obd1 distributor to run an obd1 ecu.

60-1ek sold jkobd to rywire, hence he does not make harnesses anymore.
