New CRX! First time Honda owner..Options?
i choose ls b18a1/b1 over a b16 anyday. more torque and you can get them for really cheap. there are like 3 for sale in the f/s section for like 250-500 and you can buy a tranny for like 100-300 for a cable tranny. also 1200 for the deal he spoke of above is a once in a while sorda situation... ls's go for dirt cheap all day everyday... g/l and the crx is a good first honda! rep for the conversion to hondas!!!

Well, I do believe you guys have me convinced...Swap it is. I have everything to do the mild turbo kit on the D-block, so I figure I may just beat up on this little guy for a while until I get everything needed for the swap. The jury is still out as to which swap I want to do, but the key factor here is I want something that will be relitively simple, and not involve this thing being on jackstands for three months. How involved is the b18 swap? Are the motor mounts a bolt on affair? Will my gauges work still? Is the shifter linkage the same? I'm not expecting you guys to write me a manual, or anything, but If you could at least point me in the right direction...I'm no stranger to engine swaps, but it's never been in a Honda! Any writeups, or swap oriented sites would be super helpful too.
I'm getting more and more psyched about this every minute, and I've only had this car for 10 hours! Thanks for all the help and support so far. TR kinda kicks ass.

im sure many people can vouch that an lsvtec semi built forged pistons rods 700miles on the motor..and the full entire swap whatever u need to put it in from my crx to urs..for 2500 is a good price..or like i said buy the entire car for only 500 more...and swap the good suspension and carbon fiber $500 hood if u like cf hoods..its also not aricey hood its the jdm VIS cf hood (the middle of the hood goes up on the jdm version where the US version dips down givin u more hood to motor clearance..

If you want to spend the dough for good products. Hasport Performance, Inc. is where ya wanna go. All my shit his hasport. Linkage, harness, axles,mounts. Can be done alot cheaper though using oem parts off of a donor car.
I'd be all over that crx too ls/vtec ftw! I bet that thing screams!
