Default brake light on? why?

Hey TR!

Just very recently, my brake light comes on... usually when i turn into corners, or when i accelerate real fast... and then it goes away. Sometimes it stays on, sometimes it goes off.
When parked, it lights when it's supposed to i.e. when e-brake is on.

is that a quick fix or do i need to just take out the bulb in the cluster (which i'd rather not do since it aint fixing the cause).

any idea what may cause the light to go on?
thanks

1. check your brake pads. they might need to be replaced.
2. check and refill your brake fluid.

when your brake pads are worn down, more brake fluid is required in the brake lines therefore causing low fluid to stay in the brake reservoir. that, in turn, activates the fluid sensor and turns on the brake light in the gauge cluster.

could be the switch where your e-brake is. could be very sensitive and need adjustment. just a thought
