The exhaust I got was a "hand me down" from when my b17 was put in...straight piping w/Magnaflow muffler coming out the passenger side of the car. I want to change for 2 reasons....it's WAY too loud and ricey, and I'd like to have it coming out the driver's side like it used to. I won't be making any purchase until September at the earliest, so I wanted to get some opinions on what to get. I prefer nice deep toned exhausts, just don't know whats what. Thanks in advance

 

Funny enough the E-bay cat backs sound really nice. I have one on my wifes EJ and they are very deep and not loud at all.

 

I'd go with a greddy or Apexi. I have the apexi ws2 with no cat and its quite as hell!

 

Personally, Ive been threw a handfull of exausts with my H22 in my 89 Rex, I finally purchased a tanabe hyper medalion exaust, with a test pipe, ( check out the pics in my tr garage ) Deep, quiet on normal driving, very particular sound at WOT. not your typical beer can shooter evry day sound. Just my 2cents
