Default H-series motor in a del sol?

I tried looking up the info myself but kept only getting partial anwsers for what I wanted to know...If someone could help me out or even send me a link with more info that''d be great too
Here are my questions,
I know its possible to swap in a H series motor into a del sol but would it be more practical to just swap in a b or d series motor into instead?
This car is going to be my daily since I only use my gsx for the weekends now, but I still want it to have decent power.
and if I did decide to go with the H series, would it be cheaper to buy a h23 block and a h22 vtec head then just buying a h22 vtec complete swap?
ohh and what other odds and end would i need, like shift linkage cable, what kind of axles, so and so forth...

Please any info on this would help me out alot. Thanks

Honda-Tech.com: Hybrid: [FAQ] ***H22A into Civic EG/EK INFORMATION Post all H22A Hybrid info here***

it's the same as swapping it into an eg civic. Have fun.. its worth it.
Personally, id save yourself some headaches and just get a straight h22 swap.

i put one in my sol many years ago. best daily driver engine in the car. its what the car needed . not a puny b series bandwagon engine . stock with stock del sol exhaust i had put down 174 whp and 141 wtq. i had more tq at the wheels at 2500 rpms than a b series has at the crank even .

car ran great and the engine lasted forever . still going strong to this day but in another persons sol. i went back to sohc turbo

good luck!
