if i have a obd1 computer that was not on a vtech engine can i use for a vtech one

Default if i have a obd1 computer that was not on a vtech engine can i use for a vtech one

i have a d15 and a vtech head withmanifold i know that the plug wires and the timing belt needs to be change but my question is that i dont really know if my computer is v tech or if all obd1 computers have pin for the vtech d6 in other words can i use and obd1 computer for a vtech engine?

thnik it can work but the vtec (look closely at spelling) function would not be a option, or you could get it chipped so the vtec function could be a option.

so in order to work a vtec out the computer have to come from a vtec engine how do know the diferences on the obd1's
