Default boosted on stock exhaust?

i have a 95 ls im about to boost.. im wonder how the stock exhaust would hold up/hurt me.. not really in the whole fart can or super loud turd exhaust.

i plan on running 10psi(only gonna run about 5psi untill i can get the safc2 and wideband) on a small t3.. my question is can i keep my stock exhaust without having a big power loss?

No stock exhaust is not going to work well for you. Don't turbo your car on a vafc. Get ahold of John Vega and get tuned on ectune. Do it right or don't do it.

when did he say vafc?

stock exhausts will just limit power. letting a turbo'd car breathe better will just increase power output

Running a stock exhaust on a setup that is making over 175 whp would be a bad idea unless you had some kind of e-cutout on it.

As KJ said, running an safc instead of a real engine management would also be a bad idea.

+1 for the cutout. itll give you the quietness for daily driving, and lessen the restriction for when you really wanna go.
