94 Accord EX Question
Well I have a 94 Accord EX with the F22B1 and for whatever reason if I try to go to red line I hit the rev limiter at 5200 RPM everything I've read says it shouldn't kick in until 6200 RPM and max power is at 5500 so I'm not even getting that. I tried resetting the ECU by unplugging the battery and so on so fourth, that did nothing, I know the CEL light works because when I start the car it comes on and goes off and I don't have one when I'm driving so I'm at a total loss. I know VTEC is working because I can hear it kick in around 3500
so I'm completely lost any help is much appreciated I know we have a bunch of Honda Guru's around here.

I have the same issue .... funny thing is its a non vtec motor and at about 3200 rpms i get a surge of power like vtec is kicking in, its kind of funny. But any way Ive changed the distributor, computer, full tune up (wires plugs new dizzy) set the timimg at +16 like the book states and nothing the problem still persist....
