Default 91 Ls & 96 Ls?

I Was Comparing A Couple Blocks And Noticed That On The B18a1 Next To The Oil Pressure Sending Unit(on Back Of Block) Is 2 Wire Plug. On The B18b1 This Plug Doesnt Exist. Does Any One Understand What I'm Saying? Please Advise, I'm Curious.

Yes on the older b18a motor that two wire plug is a oil temp sensor that measured return oil temp. Even though it was there I've never seen any documentation that the ecu did anything with that sensor. It can be left unplugged with no ill effects.
