need help no spark

Default need help no spark

b16 was runing when i bought it and i got no spark on wires so i change the coil pack and same promble it gets gas in chamber and no spark to get it going help......

main relay runs the fuel pump 2 so if your geting fuel i would look elce ware igniter is where i would look that giver the spark

you might need to replace the chip in the distributor. a friend of mine had the same problem. not sure though. i'm not a big honda guy but i think his was a b16.

I agree with kan on this....I have a 92 b16 civic and had the same prob......checked the fuel pump, plugs and wires, and had it hooked to a diagnostics comp for 2hrs....turned out to be the distributer chip..that cost me $150.....but can be up to $400 if u need new distributer.....good luck

I agree with kan on this one. I have a 92 civic hatch b16 and had the same problem. I got new fuel pump, plugs wires, fuel injectors, fuel rail, and had it hooked up to a diagnostics comp and finally figured out that it was the distributer chip. That cost me $150, but if u need new distributer then that would cost around $400. Good luck
