My maint. req. light came on and soon after my clutch started actin wierd. It sometimes sticks down when i go to shift. Thinkin it might be the clutch slave cylinder or somethin. Pm me if u think u have the prognosis. Thanks

if you need i got a brand new never opened Type R pressure plate. 813-679-9467 also got a pilot bearing new also.

I believe its ur slave cylinder 2 u should start there anyways its cheaper than a clutch....

 

hows the fluid level ?

it could be your master cylinder leaking fluid past the seals . you would show signs of it leaking on the inside of the car . check the carpet on the firewall where the clutch pedal master cylinder is . if thats it , change that and the slave at the same time . putting a new master on a weak old slave will cause it to malfunction sooner .

 

or if tranny was taken out recently and the line wasn't hooked up tight it will cause air in the line. look along the whole line for visible leaks
