Default tranny gears??

i was wondering if you would be able to change the tranny gears from a hydro tranny to a cable... vice versa.

i have read that the DA gsr's have the shortest gears. true or no ??

also, i know that getting shorter gears would suck on HIGHWAY riding but cant you compensate with bigger rims. would a 16in rim on a civic make that big of a difference.

yes, changing your tire diameter will change your overall gearing. i notice a difference when i drop from a 45 series to a 40 series. its a small difference, but still a difference.
what size tire are you running now?

You can swap gears on 92-93 ys1 cable trannies with hydro trannies. I'm pretty sure you cannot change 90-91 s1/j1/y1 gears with hydro trannies.
