obd1 ecu in a 96 civic IACV questions
ok so i have a 96 EK using the factory DX harness...1 piece design...and using a ob2 LS engine. the harness has a 3 wire IACV plug instead of the 2pin plug on my obd1 harness. now the motor has an obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and it idle surges and wont stay idling when the car warms up. its throwing code 14 which is the IACV. I am going just going to cut the IACV plug off one of the harness that i have thats already hacked and wire it in the ecu itself to eliminate the 3 wire IACV thats in the car now. Now my question is with all the research I have done the IACV plug i have now has 2 wires coming off of it a black/blue wire and a yellow/black wire. when i look at an obd1 ecu pinout(im using a p75 ecu) it says A9 is the IACV pin for the P75/p72 which is black/blue wire so i know where that wire is but it says nothing about the yellow/black wire....so where do i hook that wire up to? i tried to look on the obd1 harness on my 92 civic and theres about 4 yellow/black wires on the ECU side of the plug.
any help appeicated.

ok that really doesnt help on that website it says how to convert the 3 wire to a 2 wire IACV but none of the wires mention are either the 3 wire harness or the 2 wire plug that i cut from an obd2a IACV harness is correct....my colors on the 2 wire plugs are Black/blue and Yellow/black and the old 3 wire harness is white/red, Brown, black, and Blue/orange

Side that has the notch needs to be your positive.

could there be another reason why when the car is cold it runs and idles perfect, but when its at normal operating temp, it wont idle and when i hold the throttle at 2k rpms it surges betwwen 1800-2500 rpms?
the codes its throwing are 14 (iacv) and 41(o2 sensor)but the o2 sensor plug is short so i still need to extend it.
also if the 96-98 is a 1 piece wiring harness why are the wires different on the old 3 pin plug and where the wires are supposed to be on the obd2a plug near the ecu? on the 3 pin plug the wires are white/red,yellow/black, and blue/orange, but on the ecu side harness A14 is black/blue and A13 is solid orange? on the ecu side it has those color wires on the smaller plug..
also its running an obd2a to obd1 conversion harness on a P75 ecu.
i apperiacte the help so far.
