Ok I got a f23 awhile back, (got a 90' accord) finally got some fire under my ass and decided to do sumthing wit it but found out it won't work, so want to take off the head but don't kno how to do it. Headers already off so aint gotta worry bout that. N e 1 have a D.I.Y. On how to or a link leading to it?

 

first, whats your reasoning for swapping the head instead of the whole motor?

 

Don't have tha wireing harness and it'll b a bitch to find one. And just thought it would be better just to swap heads (don't care bout vtec just want to swap heads) cause my heads warped and kinda already have the f23 (tried selling but nobody got back to me) .

 

it should be just like a mini me. too swap the heads, you need the f23 ecu or get your f22 chipped too run vtec. you may also need a vtec subharness and obd jumper harness. too remove and install the heads should be easy. make sure too get the f23 head either rebuilt, OR AT THE LEAST GET IT RESURFACED!!!!!! NEW HEADGASKET IS A MUST ALSO!!!!!! timing can be found in the haynes manual you should have. finally call up Rywire.com and talk too Ryan i think. theyll be able too tell you exactly. i could be wrong somewhere in here, but thats due too me being to damn lazy to search. googles "f23 head swap". if you just want too swap the heads, thats simple.
