Alright to start of with as some of you might know i jsut kind of got into the whole car 'scene' and honestly dont really know that much so please if you think this is a dumb question dont leave negative comments. Anyways, i have a 98 civic ex and wanted to go turbo, i know like 50% of the parts that i need to get my set up going but i was wondering if some one could tell me all the parts that i would need to have the complete set up
-thanks
-thanks
to do it right and properly it'll cost you well over 3k.the parts you will need depend on your horsepower goals and what you want to do with the car(drag, autox,dd).
so a little more info and ill be glad to help.

Are you willing to do all of the work yourself or hire someone out?
Are you looking to swap the motor out or use what you have?
Is there a Budget or is the price tag endless?
What kind of performance parts are you looking at and what is your goal on this car?
Just for starters.....Contact 727 344 1800 John (MrLHT) here https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/lht-performance/ and he would be a good person to show you the right way to go.
He's Good Peoplez and does excelent work.
#1 - hire some one
#2- im keepin the same motor
#3- im looking to keep it in the low 3k range
#4- my goal on this car is to have a dependable DD that will give me that extra kick of power when i need it, im not gonna be racing anyone so its not like im looking to have a fast ass set up, and as for parts just parts that are reliable
thanks alor for the info on mrlht , i will be contacting him

If your planning on hiring someone its going to cost you alot.. you doing it your self will save you money..but if you dont know how and dont trust your self then Be prepared to spend alot of money... all i got to say is RESEARCH all your stuff before you get into anything..

It's going to be far more than a bolt-on job.
and more expensive than anyone thinks, going in.
and there is some development work, to be done before using it.
If you get a kit developed by someone who knows what they are doing, where everything matches everything else,
it's better than trying to get mis-matched parts to work
with each other.
Good luck, and keep us posted.-Bob
