Default Its going down... couple questions

I going to lower my new ride (01 gsr) a little bit. I thinking 1.75 up front and 1.5 in the rear. Question is... How low can I go before I have to adjust the camber in the rear. If I have to adjust the rear camber, can I use washers?

By the way, I thinking about using Koni sports and H&R springs. Im open for discussion on the pros and cons.

H&R sport springs?

That setup will have a nice ride, yet won't be so low you'll scrape on speed bumps.

BTW: koni's have a little ride height adjustability on the perch.

ive used washers on many customers cars to bring the rear camber within spec. But you don't get anything like a whole degree in camber. Its more like a few tenths or a min. I would just buy a rear camber kit. In my opnion its better then adding washers.

Sounds like a good setup.
I'm running H&R Springs & Koni Yellows Now on My Jetta and I LOVE Them!

You will have very little negative camber wear with this drop your talking about, especially with the rear tires since they don't pull the car, They are just there for the ride and don't do any pulling on the pavement like the fronts do.

As for the rear camber kits....If you go to Advanced Auto and purchase 1 package of 20 washers and 4... 3/4" longer then stock Grade A bolts ($12.75 total) you'll have the same effect as spending $44 on a camber Kit and be just as safe.
