Tranny Question???

ok so i bought a 95 EG hatch with ls vtec and the guy that told me that it had a 2000 Si tranny how can i find out if it is a Si tranny cause when im driving normal in 5th like at 75mph im at 4500 RPMS?

the only way is to crack open the tranny and count the gears.

rpm's for mph sound about right for an SI tranny, as Billy said you don't know exactly unless you pop the top and count teeth.
