k here is my problem. everyone knows that when you start you car you can hear your fuel pump turn on it makes a noise. well ive noticed that sometimes mine doesnt make that noise and the car wont start. after a couple tries it works. anyone know what this can be? car stats below


1993 civic
b16 built for boost but no turbo as of now
walbro 255 fuel pump
stock injectors

 

fuel pump relay? or perhaps a main relay, my civic used to not start sometimes and replacing the main relay fix the problem

yup main relay.

 

if you know how to solder i can tell you how to fix main relays.
the cold solder joints inside expand and dont make contact when hot but its an easy fix
