car wont start.. help please

well you said it had an alarm. was the starter bypass ever fix how it was before that?

the no noise at all usually means there is no power from the ign to the starter to crank it over. On the old alarm it had a relay that went in series to the starter wire under the dash that needs to be spliced back together.
Have a test light or meter?

hey guys pulled 2 wires and it started right up. its in the shop now and I will have it up and running within the next couple of days.

you can get around it without having to buy a new starter. if you go to discount auto/auto zone or any sho like that, you can buy a click ingnition. its basically a button which is spring loaded, and you press it in which becomes your ingnition (like the S2000's). you install it then have 1 lead running to the battery and the other to the starter and bypasses it. very easy to do and only costs a few dollars.

ha..thats what I did to a gst I had. the starter relay was messed up so I bypassed it and made it a push button start.

thats fuckin awsome I think I will do that later but not just yet. I got it started and now Im waiting to get my new tranny so I can get it actually running. the tranny thats in there is completely shot. 3rd 4th and 5th are GONE haha

i donno he just pulled 2 wires behind the steering column and it started right up. Prolly 2 wires that were connected somehow from the alarm or somethin I donno lol
