Default i would like some input......

i have a 94 accord 5spd. with 230,XXX miles on the original motor. im waiting for it to die b4 i make ne decisions on the motor, but when it does go, i am wondering what motor i should put in to replace it....H22, F20, K20.....etc. the most "bang for the buck" cause when it does go im gonna build whatever motor i get for turbo, and i want DOHC VTEC real bad. so any input would be great, Thanks in advance,
-Ross

well, with a h. you will need new sleeves, but u did say you were going to BUILD it for turbo. i think k might be a little stressfull. i would go with a h22 with sleeves. man wish i had the money....

shit 230k...that accords still got 100k in it! haha itl run forever. ive seen a few k24 swaps out there. but with h22 u can keep the a/c. it really depends on how much luxury u want too. do u want a bad ass motor? a/c? power steering? these are all things to consider when swapping.

Do an h22. Much easier swap for your car and much cheaper.

and as far as details of the swap, would it go right in (with polyurethane mounts) or would i have to get mounts to make it fit, the shift linkage would it line up or would i need to use what i have....basically what im asking is, is the h22 gonna be a direct replacement?

k series swap isnt cheap to do..a lot of time and money will be spent..
cause it was opposite designed from b,d and h series engines
i would go with h22a engine..

the pic below is my k24a engine in my element..
