High Compresiion Question
I HAVE A 200 B16A IN MY CRX AND THE ENGING IS BUILT SLIGHTLTY
. SO WE DID A COMPRESSION CHECK AND WE GOT 220 PSI ACROSS THE BOARD, WITCH IS VERY HIGH. IM PRETTY SURE STOCK ITS AROUND 160
PSI . IF SO WOULD THIS MEAN IT HAS BEEN CHANGED INTERNALLY WITH SUCH HIGH COMPRESSION. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS COULD GIVE ME A SLIGHT FIGURE ON MY COMPRESSION RATIO. ALSO IT WILL PING IF I GO ANY LOWER THAN 93 OCTANE.........IN THE FUTHER WE ARE GOING TO BORESCOPE THE MOTOR ASWELL
ALL COMMENT WELCOME

Also I Have The Hondata S200 Comp And Its Been Tuned . But Ive Checked The Plugs And Its Still Runs Lean When I Run Hard Or Soft . If Brought The Fuel Pressure From 35 ,40, 45 And 50 With The Regulator And Still No Change . I Have Never Done That And Go No Change In Mixture Change.. Also The Car Has 320 Injectors As Well
220 is fine. You're most likely pulling the plugs under the wrong load

ive checked the plugs during causal driving, as well ass twice after a 2nd 3rd and 4th gear pull and immeditatly checking them i just need to get it re tuned because vtec also comes in at 3500 and it pings also from 900 to 3000. i have the basic fuel/ratio gauge witch is not accurate but it says im fine witch is wrong and for the 220 psi. is that normal or is that high than normal
So you're turning the car off while WOT at the load points you want to see the plugs? Any other driving will affect the plugs. Also, how old are the plugs? Older plugs are harder to read

You left out the most important info. Please define a "slightly built" engine. What pistons are you running. Head gasket size. Has the block or head been milled and how much? At any rate, it sounds like you are not tuned correctly if you have detonation. If your dynamic compression is sky high, though, there isn't anything you are going to be able to do with pump gas.
About Is It Built, I Dont Know It Has A 3 Layer Head Gasket From What I Can See And 220 Compression. I Did Not Build It Nor Was I There For The Tune. The Kid I Bought It From Did Not Now Nothing Just That It Was Built For Him. I Dont Even Know Right Now What Kind Of Cams Are In It. It Is Alot Faster Than A Normal B16 . So In All Were Are Going To Borescope The Motor To See The Pistons . And Also See What Kind Of Cams They Are And Get It Retuned. It Also Revs To 9000 For The Rev Limiter And It Does Not Fall Off At All. Ill Have To Do Some Checking Up On The Motor ..
