Default v-tech selenoid

I did a b16 swap into my delsol and had to wire in the v-tech, the only code that comes up is for the v-tech selenoid and I purchased a new one and instaled it but it is still bringing up the same code 21. how do I check if the vtech selnoid is good or not.

Make sure you wired it to the right port. If you wired the vtec and its throwing the code then back track your wires

YOu prob wired it up wrong! Double check and tripple check your wiring. Make sure the solenoid is grounded and if you want to make sure it works you can unplug the solenoid from its connect clips and and run a small wire directly to the battery or any constant power source and just tap it with the wire.... if done correctly you should hear a *click* from the soleniod if it is working properly! That means your vtec just clicked in yo! Lol.

btw make sure you do this while the car is off and be sure your wires are grounded so you dont blow something up!

Don't put 12 volts on the solenoid.
Check continuity between solenoid (at unplugged wire on solenoid side) and chasis ground. Should have 14 to 30 ohms. If not, it's the solenoid.
Check continutity between A4 at the ecu and green and white (or whatever color it may be) that plugs into the solenoid. If nothing, you have a wire problem between ecu and solenoid.
