i broke my cv axle yesterday and i called the place to get a new one and they said there is a color strip or color ring near the tranny that they need to know for what axle option to give me, but i checked and im not seeing nothing so i was wondering if someone can let me know what color it is.

its a: 91crx si...d16a6 1.6 liter. and its the driver side axle

 

There idiots! They can pull up the part by motor and car information! Its not like you have a hybrid swap in there its a stock motor! Tell them to stop being lazy and I recommend you find another shop!
