i think you mean how much HP since 12psi in a small turbo is different then 12 psi in a larger one.

Just my opinion....don't turbo a stck block...if you do it will prolly safely handle 7-10 psi...for how long...who knows...lol rip it apart and have that crank balanced....get some ebay rod and piston kit...maybe a block guard...and whatever else you want...take yur time and do it right...yu always blow a stocky...trust me...need more help?

the a6 bottom end is the best too turbo due too the stock girdle. i talked too Mike Yonke at yonke racing and he confirmed that is stronger and hes got a 500hp z6 i believe. a block guard is a MUST. im with lilneedle on the balancing too. as long as youre not talkin it too 9k, youll be aiight. bottom end: forged pistons, eagle rods (ls will work, but you have too knotch the block), block guard, micro polish the crank, BALANCING. youll be good too go. d-series.org will help a lot.

It all depends on the setup. I've put some stock block motors deep into the 11's. If you are going to build stay away from ebay parts and DO NOT run a block guard.

whats your reasoning for not running a block guard? it cant hurt i think. NOTE: installation of a block guard should be done by a professional. the bore will need too be honed too assure a perfect cylinder. Engine Lab of Tampa does them. the did ICS/ICC's block guard in his LS

They can hurt cooling and my experience has been they are not needed. I've built motors with and without them over the past 8 years or so and my opinion is they are a waste of time and can create alot more problems than they fix.

ooooh yeah. that is righ, i forgot about that. he is right about the cooling. dont they drill holes for better cooling? IF you decide too use a block guard its not really necessay untill 300hp i believe. im not using one in my ls thatll be fully built. it wont be powerful wnough. ive rebuilt an a6 and KJ has aparently built a few more motors than me, so id listen too him. hes got more experience.
