Mufller installed..pix inside...
this is oem s2000 stock rear section muffler..
twin loop design..and it is extremly quiet..
without the chrome tip .the open tip is 2.36"
with chrom tip 3"
and the stock eg hatchback muffler opening tip is 1.38"
it is very quiet as stock eg muffler..and really high flow..
car runs very smooth at high rpm and can feel it pulls hard...
the pics below is side by side comparison of stock and s2000 mufflers without chrome tip

had a muffler shop welded the s2000 muffler to my stock eg piping
with chrome tips on..they only charged me $30 bucks for the labor..

the pic below is without chrome tip on..

a new ceramic header (4-2-1 design) with thermal wrap done by me..
sorry...i am not an artist...
thermal wrap purchased from advance auto parts store.
with heat resist clips for $61

the valve cover is not painted by me..it was done by previous owner..
sorry it looks crapy
took me an hour to install the header...
crawled underneath a lowered car is really pain in the butt....
so limited space to work on....
but after it is done..the exhaust sounds really cool..
i cant believe how much difference and performance can a header and rear section muffler make..and it is still very quiet....not too loud from the stock eg exhaust sytem
still running the stock cat converter and piping..
the car pulls hard starting at low rpm and pulls really hard at high rpm.
i love it.totally recommended

Hmm... Curious how it sounds as my stock s2000 exhaust i found it to be a little raspy with no resonators or cats involved!
Reps for a nice clean hatch tho! Points for a new unique exhuast idea! Maybe I can get NSX exhuasts for my car....

i like it looks great!
thanks guys..and it is really quiet...and non ricer look..
but high flow...and it sounds very nice with the twin loop design..
no torque or power lost at low end rpm, thanks to twin loop design again
...and pulls really hard at high rpm especially when vtec kicks in...
so i am happy..
and i am going to install the header this evening

sorry no header wrap left..cause the thermal wrap i bought from advance auto parts is just good enough for a 4 cylinder header and they cost 43 dollars...not cheap at all
but definitely worth it

nice, i was thinking of doing the same thing. it even says honda on the bottom of the canister so if cops have anything to say ( which i highly doubt) u can says " its stock, look it even says honda on there" hahaha
about the header wrap, i've heard some scary things about them. especially down here where is humid. after heading it up and letting it cool it will have condensation, sooner or later it will eat at the hearders. at least thats what i've read. just giving my input so you dont have any problems later on.
