Ive read on other forums there starting to get over 400hp on vitara pistons in single cams and was wondering if anybody is using or has used them locally? For the price and results who can say no to buying a set if your building a motor.

I bought mine from user Fjt on d-series.org. I mounted them on a set of eagle rods. I think he's on H-T too. He's sold a bunch all over the various boards.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

It depends on the head that you end up using. I think Fjt offers 75mm and now 75.5mm pistons. It's just a Suzuki replacement, so there isn't any different dish depths to choose from.

With my y7 head & y7 block I was turning 140-143 compression when the motor was warm. (using standard bore 75mm pistons) I think that's somewhere around 7.9-8:1. The with the z6 head on it, it should be bumped up closer to 9:1, but there are a few different calculators out there that you can double check.

I haven't done a compression test with the new head yet. My car been broken too much to do anything other than fix it.
