I was just wondering if anyone has a write up for a 91 ls b18a1 swap
into a 91 crx si. I have the motor and shift linkage from the integra,
i didnt get the motor mounts yet or the pr4 ecu. Does anyone know what
else im going to need? any trouble to look foward to, is it possible to
use my stock mounts or integra mounts and modify them? lmk please this
will be a great help. thanks guys

 

I know the front motor mount need to be taken out(atleast from the swaps I have seen in a EF) and you will have to bang out your inner frame rail(just a tiny bit) where the alternator goes b/c it hits.

 

yea i know that and i know if you use aftermarket motor mounts you no longer have use for the front mounts. but im trying to save money and not wanting to spend 200-400 dollars on motors mounts. does anyone know if i can use any other engine mounts from other cars and modify them to fit?

 

you can use all od the DA mounts but the tranny mount , just order a hasport tranny mount or place racing-motor mount cheaper, youll also need the da front hubs on some model efs and you'll have to wire up your existing harness to multi point and get a resister box , shift linkage

 

so would the da motor mounts except the tranny mount fit perfect into my crx>?
